MakeTime core engine is an innovative integration platform that uses search technology to create a web application "mash-up" shell around multiple applications. This allows for efficiently integrating the information across any number of applications, without changing the original user interfaces.

MakeTime integration with Jira is an extension of Atlassian JIRA with two interfaces, allowing the MakeTime search server to provide advanced, as-you-type, interactive search across all JIRA projects and data. Implemented a second "high performance" interface as an asynchronous provider that reads the JIRA database, directly form SQL tables and transmits changed data to the MakeTime server.
